Pregnancy Counseling Services is proud to announce the appointment of Dee Bell as Executive Director of our organization. Dee comes from an extensive background and a wealth of knowledge working in the pregnancy resource field for over 10 years. She will continue the mission of PCS by providing pregnancy related services to the community which includes, pregnancy testing and counseling, Parenting101 education classes, material items and resources all free of charge to the individual. She will also guide PCS as they move to a larger facility and expansion to medical clinic within the next year. Dee comes to Pregnancy Counseling Services with experience in community relations, events, and fundraising. Additionally, she brings experience in training of volunteers to help guide and direct PCS into the next phase of our vision.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be on board with Pregnancy Counseling Services during this time of growth and change. I look forward to the challenges ahead and know that with the amazing team we have, we will be able to accomplish the goals we have set before us” says Bell. She added “I’m looking forward now that shelter-in-place is lifting, to get to know the community at large and see how we can serve them even better.”
“I originally reached out to PCS to offer my skills as a volunteer, it was quickly evident that God had different plans for me. After exchanging some emails with TaNelle, we realized that God’s timing is never late or early and always perfect. With His guidance I’m excited to help PCS through this season of change and will be asking for prayers along the way,” adds Bell
PCS’s previous director, TaNelle Forgy, who has served this ministry for the past three years is stepping down because of her family’s move to the Dallas, TX area sometime this summer. “I have been honored to have been a part of PCS for the last 3 years. It has been an amazing God-filled time and I have genuinely enjoyed and been blessed by the community, our clients, and our wonderful board and staff! God is utterly amazing,” Forgy says.
